About me
The training, and the living.
ICF Accredited Life Coach with 10+ years of coaching experience.
In my twenties, I moved to the UK from New Zealand in 2012, thinking I knew what I was walking into.
Three months later, everything changed when I lost someone close to me, and there was no manual for building a life in a new country while grieving one that had just shifted underneath me. I had no choice but to try and find my footing and build my life in London.
At this time my career focused on business operations, and I quickly worked my way up the ladder. During this time, an opportunity came up to train as a coach with The Coaching Academy in 2016 (an ICF-accredited centre through the ACSTH pathway), and I grabbed it, sensing a deep connection with the work.
My full career shifted and during my time in London I then went on to coach private clients and running group coaching for the New Zealand Business Women's Network.
In 2019, I joined a boutique consulting firm, coaching senior executives across FTSE and Fortune companies in the UK and Australia.
None of that is the whole story, though. I now live in the Scottish Borders. I'm also a mother. I've been made redundant more than once, and I've built a business from the ground up.
I know what it is to lose the version of yourself you thought you'd keep, and to find your feet again anyway.
That's what sits underneath Reground: the training, and the living. I'm not asking you to trust a framework. I'm asking you to trust someone who has actually stood where you're standing.
